Holding down the Option key while clicking Reply to a message, will quote the contents of the original message, even if this option is turned of in NovaTerm’s Preferences.
There is now a Private Chat option in the Users menu. Choosing Private Chat allows you to start a chat without creating a named chat room. In a Private Chat, only the person who initiated the chat can invite new people.
NovaTerm now has Command keys to the Bold, Italics, and Underline items in the Style submenu.
When using modems, NovaTerm now alerts the user if the selected modem port is in use by another application. NovaTerm gives the user an option to try using the port anyway. Depending on the other application’s behavior, NovaTerm may or may not be able to use the port successfully.
NovaTerm now supports progressive Jpegs (pre system 7.5 users must have Thread Manager installed for this feature to work).
Known Problems:
NovaServer does not support file attachments in Internet e-mail.
Modem users can not upload and download files at the same time over a modem. When TCP/IP users upload and download files at the same time, canceling one of the transfers may cause NovaTerm to crash.
Change:
The Make Hotlink… command was moved from the Messages menu to the Edit menu.
